Born in 1955, Noel was initiated into the Old Oakhamian Lodge No.8033, in 1983 and installed into the Chair in 1996. Since 2001, he has served as Secretary. In 2000 he joined the Vale of Catmos Lodge No.1265 and was Installed as Master in 2001. Subsequently, he

was appointed as Charity Steward from 2002 to 2011 and in 2012 he was appointed Chaplain. He is also a member of the Leicestershire & Rutland Lodge of Installed Masters No.7896, and has served as ADC in 2005 and DC from 2006 to 2009. In 2010 he was appointed Senior Deacon and subsequently progressed to become Master in April 2013.

In Provincial Grand Lodge, Noel’s first appointment in 2002 was as an active Provincial AGDC and in 2004 he was promoted to active Provincial DGDC. In 2006 he was appointed as the Provincial Junior Grand Warden and from 2007 to 2012 he was the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies.

In Grand Lodge, Noel was appointed as PAGDC in 2008, and then Deputy Grand Sword Bearer in 2019.

Noel was exalted into the Vale of Catmos Chapter No.1265, in 1988 and Installed as Z in 1999. Subsequently he has served continuously as ADC, DC and ADC again from 2000 to the present time. He is also a member of the Leicestershire & Rutland Chapter of Installed First Principals No.7896.

In Provincial Grand Chapter, Noel’s first appointment was as active Provincial AGDC in 2003 and 2004, followed by promotion to active Provincial DGDC in 2005 and 2006. In 2011 he served a year as Third Provincial Grand Principal and in 2013 he was appointed as Deputy Grand Superintendent.

In Supreme Grand Chapter, Noel was appointed as an active ADC in 2012 and promoted to PGSwdB in April 2013.

Away from work and Masonry, Noel enjoys watching most sports, particularly rugby football and in his younger days played for Oakham RFC and served as both Captain and then Chairman for a number of years. Noel now plays golf at Greetham Valley Golf Club and is still a keen supporter of Northampton Saints.

In business, Noel is now retired from a very busy business life where he was a Chartered Surveyor and at one time a Livestock Auctioneer. He is married to Jackie and has two sons Mark and James.

Born in Leicester in 1959, Jonathan was initiated into Prince Rupert Lodge No.7841, in December 1986 and installed into the Chair in 1999. Subsequently he has served the Lodge as ADC, DC and Treasurer, and now fills the office of Secretary.

In Provincial Grand Lodge, Jonathan was appointed as Provincial Grand Pursuivant in 2005. He was promoted to active Provincial AGDC the following year and to Past Provincial Grand Sword Bearer in 2013.

Jonathan was exalted into Morley Chapter No.8320 in September 1990 and installed as Z in 2002. He has served as ADC and DC in the past but is not currently in office as he is now Second Principal of the Leicestershire and Rutland Chapter of Installed First Principals following several years as its Director of Ceremonies.

In Provincial Grand Chapter, he was appointed as Provincial AGDC in 2006 and promoted to Provincial DGDC in 2007, serving in that capacity until 2011. He was then appointed Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies in March 2012.

In Supreme Grand Chapter, he was appointed PGStB in April 2019.

Jonathan, now retired, joined Midland Bank (now HSBC) in 1978, has worked in various branches across the East Midlands. Away from Freemasonry he has been a regular member of his Parish Church Choir for over 40 years and is also a keen supporter of Leicester Tigers. Jonathan also has an interest in the Great War and is a member of the local branch of The Western Front Association, the War Memorial in the Holmes Lodge Room being the topic of his paper for the Lodge of Research No. 2429.

Born in 1946, Chris was initiated into St Werburga Lodge No 4147 in November 1976. In 1981 he became a joining member of Lodge Semper Eadem No. 3091 and was installed as Master in 1994 and again in 1997 where he now serves as Chaplin. In 1988 he was one of the Founder members of Reynard Lodge No. 9285 and was installed as Master in 1996. He is also a member of the Leicestershire and Rutland Lodge of Installed Masters No. 7896.

In Provincial Grand Lodge Chris’s first appointment in 2000 was as the active Senior Deacon and in 2002 was promoted to the active rank of Provincial Treasurer a post he held, in conjunction with that of Chairman of the Leicestershire and Rutland Charity Association, for nine years. In Grand Lodge, Chris was appointed as PAGDC in 2007.

Chris was exalted into Reynard Chapter No. 9285 in 1997 and Installed as Z in 2006 and subsequently served as Treasurer for many years. He is also a member of the Leicestershire and Rutland Chapter of Installed First Principals No 7896.

In Provincial Grand Chapter, Chris’s first appointment was as active Provincial DGDC in 2010 and in 2016 he was promoted to active Provincial Grand Sword Bearer. In 2018 he was appointed to the rank of Third Provincial Grand Principal and in 2020 was appointed to Second Provincial Grand Principal.

In Supreme Grand Chapter, Chris was appointed as PAGDC in April 2019.

Outside of work and Masonry, Chris has been an avid golfer since childhood. As a young man he was a Derbyshire county first team player and has served as Treasurer, Captain and recently President of Rothley Park Golf Club in Leicestershire. He is also a member of Notts Golf Club –Hollinwell.

In business, Chris is a retired Chartered Accountant who spent most of his career as an audit partner in an international accounting practice. He holds or has held, non- executive and trustee positions in the Health Service, Financial Services, Industrial and the Charity Sectors.

He has a son and two daughters and in recent years he and his wife Hilary have travelled extensively throughout the world.

E. Comp. Philip A Dodd PGStB

Born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne in 1956, and having grown up in rural Gloucestershire, Ian came to Leicester in 1974 to attend University and stayed on. Ian was initiated into Lodge Semper Eadem No. 3091 in 1995 and became Master in its Centenary year in 2004. Following his Mastership, he served as Secretary, Director of Ceremonies and Assistant Director of Ceremonies and is now Charity Steward. Ian joined the Leicestershire and Rutland Lodge of Installed Masters No. 7896 in 2005 and was appointed Junior Deacon in 2011 and subsequently progressed to become Master in April 2015, and is now the Treasurer.

Having been a member of the Correspondence Circle since 1998 Ian became a full member of the Lodge of Research No. 2429 in 2011 and is presently its Treasurer.

In Provincial Grand Lodge, Ian’s first appointment was as Provincial Grand Mentor in 2009. He was subsequently elected Provincial Grand Treasurer in 2011, an office he held until 2016.

In Grand Lodge, Ian was appointed as PAGDC in 2015.

In the Order of the Holy Royal Arch Ian was Exalted in St George’s Chapter No. 1560 in 1998 and installed as First Principal in 2009 and 2018. He is currently the Treasurer of the Chapter. He is also a member of the Leicestershire and Rutland Chapter of Installed First Principals No. 7896.

In Provincial Grand Chapter, Ian was appointed PPGSwdB in 2019.

Ian is a Chartered Accountant recently retired from full-time work as a tax specialist partner in a major firm. Ian remains busy undertaking consultancy work, acts as a trustee and is a member of the University of Leicester’s governing body.

Ian is married to Yvonne and has two children, James and Charlotte. Outside of masonry Ian enjoys reading and book collecting, watching sport, growing vegetables and cooking, family history research, theatre and travel.

Born in Leicester in 1967, Mark was initiated into the Wayfarer Lodge Number 8679, in December 1994 and installed into the Chair in 2007. Subsequently he served the Lodge as Assistant Secretary and has held the office of Secretary since 2015.

In Provincial Grand Lodge, Mark was appointed as Past Provincial Grand Standard Bearer in 2014 and was promoted to Past Provincial Senior Grand Deacon the following year. He is also the current Lodge Liaison Officer for the Grace Dieu Lodge Number 2428.

Mark was exalted into the Wayfarer Chapter Number 8679 in January 2003 and installed as Z in 2011. He served a second term as Z in 2018 and has held the office of Director of Ceremonies since 2019. Mark became a joining member of the Chapter of the Flaming Torch Number 4874 in 2018 and currently holds the office of Director of Ceremonies. He is Assistant Director of Ceremonies of the Leicestershire and Rutland Chapter of Installed First Principals Number 7896.

In Provincial Grand Chapter, Mark was appointed as active Provincial AGDC in 2015 and promoted to active Provincial DGDC in 2017, serving in that capacity until 2019. He was then appointed Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies in March 2020.

Mark is an independent Programme Manager and helps organisations to deliver transformational business change and realise key business benefits. He works predominantly in the Financial Services sector but also has experience in the Energy and Utilities sectors.

Mark is happily married to Jackie and has three grown up children. He is a keen carp angler and is a member of two small carp fishing syndicates. He has for many years been a Season Ticket holder at Leicester City Football Club. He also has a passion for holidays and has been fortunate enough to travel extensively all over the world.

Born in Leicester in 1947, Tony was initiated into Newarke Lodge no. 6794, in October 1986 and installed into the chair in 1998 and a second term in 2002.

Subsequently he served as Director of Ceremonies, Charity Steward and soon to be Secretary of the Lodge.

In Provincial Grand Lodge, Tony was appointed as an active Steward and promoted to Past Senior Grand Deacon the following year. Promoted to Past Provincial Grand Registrar and recently Provincial Grand Senior Warden. He is also the current Liaison Officer for Gabriel Newton Lodge no. 9071. He is also Treasurer of Derek Buswell Lodge of Provincial Grand Stewards 9705.

Tony was exalted into the Uppingham in Rutland Chapter no. 9119 in December 1999 and installed as Z in 2009 and has held the office of Scribe E since 2012 and is a member of Leicestershire & Rutland Chapter of Installed First Principals no. 7896, serving as Steward.

In Provincial Grand Chapter, Tony was appointed as active Provincial AGDC in 2013 and Provincial DGDC the following year. Subsequently was then appointed Provincial PGSN in 2020.

Having worked in the Pharmaceutical industry for a number of year as account manager, Tony retired in 2011.

Tony is happily married to Beverley and has two grown up children and three grandchildren. Away from Freemasonry he is a keen supporter of Liverpool FC and a season ticket holder with Beverley of Leicester Tigers. He enjoys gardening, watching cricket, walking, holidays and family time.
